Weekly academy membership is the heart of what we do. Around it sit goalkeeper sessions, girls' football, private coaching, team coaching for grassroots clubs and holiday camps.
Academy membership
£34 a month. Everything your player needs to progress.
Academy games
Members earn the opportunity to play academy fixtures. Selection comes from performance and attitude in training, and every player can earn it.
Goalkeeper programme
Young keepers train Thursdays 7pm to 8pm with specialist goalkeeper coaching, at the same monthly rate and with the same matchday opportunities as outfield players.

If your child's age group is not listed, enquire anyway. We will place them in the right Liverpool session for their age and stage.
The pathway
Three stages, one standard
Foundation
Fridays · 5pm to 7pmBall mastery, balance, first touch and confidence. Small numbers, lots of touches, lots of smiles. The stage where habits and love for the game are built.
Development
Mondays · 5pm to 7pmTechnique under pressure, 1v1s, scanning and decision making. Players start to understand positions and take their individual work into team shape.
Performance
Thursdays · 6pm to 8pmPosition-specific detail, game plans, physical development and standards. Players are pushed to compete and earn their academy game selection.
Girls' football
Girls' sessions every Thursday
Girls' teams train Thursdays at 5pm and 6pm at Cardinal Heenan, with the same coaching standards, the same individual focus and the same safeguarding-first approach as every NWEA session. Enquire here and we will place your daughter in the right group.
Private coaching · ages up to 16
1-to-1 and small group sessions
For players who want extra individual work, our coaches run private sessions from 1-to-1 up to small groups of five. Sessions are tailored to the player: technique, position work, confidence or getting ready for trials. Open to children and teenagers up to age 16, members and non-members, with pitch hire included in every price.
1-to-1, full individual focus
One coach, one player, a session built entirely around them. Block of six sessions: £210, academy members £195.
Train with a mate
Share the session with a sibling or friend. More game realism, lower cost per player.
Small group units
Perfect for a group of teammates working on the same part of their game.
Academy members save £2 per player on every group session. Slots are limited by coach availability, so book early. Ask about private coaching.
For grassroots clubs
Your team, coached by academy staff
We send an NWEA coach into your grassroots club to plan and deliver your team's weekly session. Your players get FA qualified, enhanced DBS checked academy coaching without leaving their own club. Ideal for teams whose volunteer coaches want support, or clubs raising their standards. Coach availability is limited, so we take on a small number of clubs each season.
One-off sessions
A single academy-standard session at your club, planned for your squad. Your club provides the pitch.
Weekly slot
Your team's training night, run by an NWEA coach every week through the season.
Weekly slot plus reports
Adds written session plans and end-of-term player reports for every member of the squad. One-off version £70.
A small travel supplement of £10 per session applies beyond eight miles of our West Derby base. If you need us to source a pitch, hire is added at cost.
School holidays
Holiday camps in West Derby
We run camps every spring, summer and autumn, plus half terms, at Cardinal Heenan. Days run 9am to 3pm, packed with ball work, small-sided games and tournaments, run by the same academy coaches your child trains with all year. £25 a day or £65 for a three-day week, with academy members at £20 a day or £55 a week. Siblings save 15%, and booking two or more weeks ahead saves £5 a day. Dates are announced ahead of each camp on our Instagram.
